Sorry about the wife, I know it is hard being away when things go sideways at home... I am afraid I might be in the the same kind of situation, my wifes health has been going downhill since I have returned to work. I think I was doing more at home than I realized, and now that she is left with everything it is not going well. You should clean the truck out at home and take it back to Marshfield. Did you check out flying home? Sometimes you can find cheap airline seats too... Renting a car one way is big bucks...

So im just going to run a load to Ellenwood, in the end it will all be about the same in cost for them to get it back or for me to get it back then try to get back home myself. -
Eric... At least the final bill will be before the year end cut off for tax's if you look at it that way it might be better to let Roehl bill you than put out all the money for tickets you could claim all the expenses from Roehl but take forever to pay them if there greater then your last settlement and escrows and we all know it will be.
I'm not a tax expert at all but it makes sense to me. if you add the loss to this years tax's you could come up at a loss maybe get a refund, or put out a 1000$ right before christmas you'll never see again. Maybe some of the other guys on here could confirm if it would work.
If I remember you said Roehl would allow you to turn it in at Ellenwood with having a abandenment put on the record, just have to pay for them to recover so let them foot the bill, not sure how they are on collections but 5$ a week seems rite I mean make them work for it just like they made you work for low milesthelastrebel Thanks this. -

I'm still angry over the ripoff over the new fuel program and I would love to get my truck financing away from the company I'm pulling freight for. All that said we could be with CR England. There is one particular thread in the Bad Trucking area that is discussing their business practices. Basically they think if an o/o clears $700 on 3000 miles they're doing good. I clear that on 1800 to 2300 miles depending on fuel mileage.

Thats a very good point indeed! also lets it show a paper trail and doesnt have me forking out over $700 in cash b4 Christmas. they will be billing me regardless what way I do it, cause now they will find all kinds of things wrong they need to fix, like replacing a bunk light bulb and billing an hr labor. LOL -
Sorry to hear about your wife, Yes mines been getting worse and worse over the last 2 yrs but this year has been the worst. with her falling and breaking crap, black outs, and the mental issues. Hells shes only 36 yrs old and weights about 150.. its not like shes a whale (thats mean but you get the point) LOL
our medicine cabinet looks like something a 80 yr old person would have.. i never counted but i know she takes upwards of 7 to 9 pills morning, noon and night each time.
on top of insulin injections. its just gotten to much for her to be dealing with all that and play the role of a single mother. -
Off to ellenwood i go to turn in my truck

Good luck Eric, my thoughts and prayers are with your family. I hope for only the best for your wife.
