Yeah, since when are you making money with your own personal vehicle. Thats a load of garbage. Too funny that you called him on it!

Should have asked him if you needed to purchase an IFTA for your pickup! LOL

The sad part is there's enforcement out there that would have written it up & made you press the issue in court to get out from under it.

Ya almost have to be a lawyer out there anymore.

I am ready to open a huge can of worms here.....

You just get home Friday night after a long week out on the road. You wake up Saturday morning and you next door neighbor offers you $100 to mow his lawn. You accept, jump on your mower and take 4 hours out of your Saturday to work for him. Did you know that, according to the regs, you are supposed to log this on line #4. [IMG]

Go to visit your lawyer............. line 4. Go to visit the accountant........ line 4. Again who does that???

    Not at all.

Easy way around it if caught. Tell any investigators that your wife does all the paper work.

That wouldn't be a lie here. I do all his paperwork when he comes home. He finishes his log book a the table, takes him maybe 5 minutes, then hands it all over to me to do the rest and get things ready to mail off to the broker.

I still think that it stupid though. :biggrin_2551:

As a CDL truck driver we have to account for every minute of every day. We are the only class of people that I know of by law that have to account for there off duty time.
