The problem with CRST is the people who work for them.
They hire alot of student drivers who are taken advantage
of by owner operator trainers. This guy (CRST) is not bad to work for and they have a nice terminal in Cedar Rapids.

See the search box at the top?

Type in CRST. There is more threads on them than you can shake a stick at.

And that in itself should tell you something, before you even start reading.

And at 22 cpm split (guessing that is for trainees ?) that is a whopping 330 a week...before taxes, insurance, and any advances for expenses.... disgraceful. :biggrin_25513:

They hired me, brought me down for orientation then told me I needed paperwork for my CPAP machine proving I use it. Told me what I needed and then said I'd be good to go once I provided the paperwork. They sent me home, I did exactly what they requested, sent them the paperwork then called a couple of days later. They said that the compliance dept hadn't gotten back to them. I kept calling daily until I finally got fed up and applied elsewhere. I could have provided the necessary paperwork before coming to Fontana if they had the right information in their orientation packet. This was kind of a blessing in disguise as I have learned that many in my orientation class have already quit.

Just quit today, have orientation with big orange soon. Last straw was my co-driver up and quitting and them taking my truck from ME because he's gone. Yeah there was a tiny bit more to it than that, but that's the gist.

Sitting in a hotel enjoying having a shower close at hand :D
