MAZ use Mercedes steering column. But I find some MAN parts in MAZ trucks!
I work on MAZ trucks. They make really good frames. Tought!
And reliable axels, but some things are not good, if it is drum brake, to change ABS sensor is the nightmare! drums, shoes and many other small parts must be removed.
Engines... they are so different. Domestic, MAN E3 engines, Mercedes Actros engines, Deutz, Cummins, CAT... ZF transmissions....
So You need to many electronic tools to work on MAN.
1. Deutz Scanner
2. Mercedes Star Diagnos
3. Cat ET
4. ZF transsoft
5. Wabco adapter + ECAS, ABS and EBS software...
Just do some calculations!!!!!
Cabs are with cheap interior... no, The CHEAPEST! Noisy a bit..... I sugest MAZ interior is the weak thing.
And MAZ wiring is not good enought. some gremlins....
differences between US and EU trailer
