I hope you forgive me for any attack that you may have felt that I have done. I just want you to know. I been there holding in stuff. That I couldn't control, and it landed me in a hospital for 2 weeks. So be careful with the unnecessary stress. I know you are looking for another job. But until they give you the thumbs up. Things like waiting. Don't let that eat at you bro. You are I'm sure a great father, and your kids and wife need you around along long time.

I had the winds to coming down 35, but it seems they have blown harder since I got on 40. The offer still stands bro if you change your mine. I live less then a mile from the flying J,pilot and tA. We can bring it to you, and you can be back on your way. Showing some Okie Hospitality. My truck is in the back row of flying J if you want to slash my tire's or pull my pin lol. I understand. No hate. I think we have voiced our differences, and I think we have moved on. Just as you said your not built for tanker yanking just like I'm not built for the reefer pulling. With that said I appreciate the offer. I have never had hate for anyone to slash a guys tires or pull his pin or steal his fuel. That's just wrong and I'm not that kind of a person.

 

The wonderful thing about trucking as a career now for 35 yrs is this... I have found what suits me and others find what they like too, my preferance is less then more, the longer I'm out the more money I seem to spend and the less tolerant of others I become so I don't do it. I have the utmost respect for those that can spend 3,4 or more weeks on the road... thank heaven above they do so I don't have to!! I miss my wife too much and she tells me she misses me too sooo...

For those that do, I appreciate you!!! But for me and mine 2 weeks is stretching it!!

 

Man, what a perfectly crappy day this has been!!!! There I am, on I 70 east of Idinanapolis, just tooling along when........ I get passed by the Girls Gone Wild bus. Not only did they pass me to fast but they've graphics that cover the whole bus up. How can I tell if there are even any girls going wild in there, in such a situation. Gotta tell ya, was devestated by that. Whined and pouted the whole last 3.5 hrs of my drive!!!!!!

I miss him like crazy but at the beginning he was told 3 weeks for Fl. so we are just trying to live by the rules and pretty much deal with it. One day i hope to be riding with him and being with him 24/7 that is on my bucket list lol stay safe all

 

OK I just want to clarify a few things First and Foremost to all of you who use this Forum,
As Kylebusch Fan stated JBS does read this right often actually some office employees actually use it when they go to bat for the drivers this I do know.

I also know that after the BS they Gave 18kylebusch fan about his post on here and more recently the ration of hell I was given about calling out Scott D, and several others in the office. I made several phone calls (returning the ones I got about the post) Basically someone called raising hell about what I said on here. My Response was a KMA speech and a reminder that regardless of who I work for I am a Red Blooded Freeborn American and I have constitutional rights, I pretty much asked them if they were going on to infringe on them and my answers was no. I also asked if any one in the office could negate what I had said they answered "No". Then I asked one more question "why in the hell would you call me with this BS, instead of finding out what the internal problem is" to which i got this reply " office problems have become more political to take care of than getting a balanced budget passed in DC."

So to those of you who complain on here I commend you and I hope that you will continue to voice your opinions both negative and positive. I will caution you on how you do it though, if you are going to use someones name leave out the last name ( the forum forbids this) Also be prepared to stand up for what you say when you are confronted by the office. If you do not have the spine and I am not saying anyone does not but just be forward thinking when you react to something on here.

 

Secondly,
I have talked about organizing the Drivers, not a UNION in anyway shape or form....

A organized cooperative of drivers of which we have one person acting as a driver liaison to the management to voice our concerns, And NO I will not be that person.
I will work to make sure that driver are treated fairly and that we all have the same opportunities with this company.
I have someone in mind to be that Liaison and I am working on some other details like a web forum for JBS Drivers to voice their issues, I am not creating anything to compete with this forum at all.
The Forum I am creating is nothing like this one, and will have specific issue's to be discussed and will be moderated by a third party most likely a non employee of JBS.

 

Just a Number for you all to think about,
the OTR division of JBS now has less than 500 trucks in it at this time.
You will see that the Specialized Division a part of JBS Carriers has expanded, and is now Handling the following areas.
Greeley Local, Greeley Cattle, Greeley Tankers, Hyrum Locals, Hyrum Cattle, Hyrum Tankers, Greenbay Local, Greenbay Cattle, Greenbay dedicated, Grand Island Dedicated, Sauderton Local, Sauderton Cattle, Sauderton Tankers, Cactus Local, Cactus Dedicated, Cactus Cattle, Cactus Tankers, Tolleson cattle,tankers, and Local., Sante Fe Dedicated, as well as they are now handling Pilgrims Dedicated, and Plainwell Dedicated. Jerry Shelton runs this group and they have now become larger than the OTR division by far.
