Thanks, Markus.
One day we may get to have a coffee, once you get out on the road.
I hope all is well with your training.

I spent T-Day at a Flying J or Pilot (can't remember which, but they're both the same, just different signs) outside Louisville, KY.
It's been busy, that's a fact. Always a pre-plan waiting. No break in the action. I don't mind it, actually. I prefer to keep moving. This is the only break I've had, and I could drive if I wanted to to, but I'm trying to get that reset in and clean up my 70.
I'm using today to rest up.I caught a cold a few days ago and I'm trying to shake it off. That's why I'm glad this load doesn't delivery until Monday. I need the down time.
I've been pushing it, a little lately, hence the cold. I can't smell anything anymore, so that's a sign that I'm getting better.......
I've been paying close attention to the traffic over the weekend. Not as busy as I thought it would be, but just the same ...........I'll stay frosty.
You can count on it. -
Wedge Thanks this.

That's where I sit at the moment. I'm in our Markem terminal having the DOT inspection, B PM, and Winterize maintenance performed.
They've finished working on my truck, and it appears I'll be heading further west, into Iowa. Haven't been there since the summer. I may get to see some snow.
Well, at least I went shopping (finally) and re-supplied my fridge and pantry so I'm good to go until hometime at Christmas.
Sammycat.....I'll get there sooner or later.sammycat Thanks this. -
Hello Everyone.
Time to see the Pacific! Well, almost.
After making my run into Des Moines, IA, I've been dispatched to Kent Washington. I haven't been through the Rocky Mountains since last winter when I was with Central. This time I've been routed through I90, so I'll get to knock off a few states I've never been to before.
Right now I'm in Kadoka, SD finishing up my 10 hr break. I ran into three snow squals so far, but other than that, its been smooth sailing. Today I'll be heading into Wyoming and Montana. I'm making sure that I drive at least 600 miles each day so that I can make my appointment time with ease on Tuesday morning.
Well, time to get rolling. I'll update when I stop for the evening.
Thanks for reading.

I'm sitting in a small TS in Buffalo, WY. I90 westbound has been closed due to weather.
I've been fighting snow and high wind all morning and it seemed to ease off and the sun came out. Just as I turned to come down into Buffalo, the blinking red signs indicated the road is closed. So off I came.
This TS is filling up with trucks faster than ants at a picnic. I've been monitoring WY DOT and the road remains closed WB from Buffalo (exit 58 to Piney Creek Rd, exit 44). East bound is closed from Sheridan.
We all might be here for a while. -
