Wait a minute corookie aren't you the one that said they got popped for a hot test in driving school? If you've driven before and had 5 trucks one why the heck are you going back to school and two wouldn't you already know the laws?

What I know is that I am most likely not going to be able to hire on somewhere. It would require a pack of lies I am not comfortable handing out to a prospective employer. Can't use the school as a reference for my refresher course because I went to work for the schools owner. Regardless of the privacy laws I would expect my dirty little secret would get out, and it was my bad, so I am going to suck it up and move on rather than fight it.
Six months down the road I may persue an o/o set-up because I think there is good money to be made. Before you even type it, I never expected to be on drugs and drive. I have given it up for good, this has been a hard, expensive lesson. I don't expect any absolution here, too many folks riding high horses, appearantly having never made mistakes. Those who want to keep taking cheap shots based on bad assumptions can probably expect a reply now and then though, at least until I am bored with it.
I didn't come on here with an attitude, just a few simple questions. This exploded into a whole nuther animal in a hurry. Fortunately there was some good discussion, unfortunately there was a bunch of garbage too. I guess thats the internet for ya, lots of experts with limited reading comprehension skills. LOL -
I'm nit making assumptions or anything and I don't think the laws have changed in the past ten years just stating they don't mix. If you would have waited 30 or 60 days it probably would've been out of your system. I think we all make mistakes. No one is perfect we just have to learn from them
Anyway good luck in your ventures. I hope you do well. -
And now you try to play the victim when someone calls you out on your hubris?
As for asking questions, you seem to be trying to answer more than you're asking. Then when someone questions one of your answers you feel the need to start spouting off about your resume?
Definitely not the actions of someone who "didn't come here to prove anything" to anyone.
BTW, choosing a username with the word "rookie" in it, and then spouting off on things as if you're a veteran is just asking for someone to call you out on your BS and probably wasn't the smartest move to begin with, huh?
In fact, it seems to align nicely with the title of the tread. -
So I was needlessly bragging? Did I list a single vehicle I thought might be impressive to you or did I just leave it very general? I noticed your smart alec response listed a bunch though. Interesing perspective on who has the issue.
Try to keep up now...Then I was asked if I was "that driver" when I questioned the difficulty of the job. Again, I thought I exercised restraint with my answer, imagine your response had I gone into detail regarding my resume. Are you threatened by someone with some experiences? I didn't go there until asked, not sure why you have such a problem with my responses.
I didn't come here to prove anything, however, if you fancy a contest I am game.
I used rookie in my username because that is exactly how the industry veiws me. No verifiable trucking experience in the last 5-7 years and thats what you are a rookie. Seemed apt at the time, sorry if you think I was trying to trick you somehow.
Mostly I think you just need to chill out. I am not attacking you so relax. -
Thanks Polarbear!
I wasn't unclear on the rules, just more interested in the subsequent reporting of my trangression and what affect it may have. I think I have it fairly well sorted now though. -
The Gryphon Thanks this.

And did you notice that he's been on the site less than a month and already has an "infraction"?
How appropriate that we're discussing this on this thread huh?
Perfect example of the "Newbie/Wannabe Attitude"!!KE5WDP Thanks this. -
Owned 5 trucks in the past? Had cars that are valued higher than the trucks?
Now the goal is to be a rookie at a trucking company?
You guys are right: Something doesn't add up. Unless he quit his illustrious career years ago to become a druggie. Now that would make sense, considering he failed a dope test. The Gryphon Thanks this. -
