The Pilot in Dallas is a pretty nasty one I've attended recently. Ho's banging on your truck in the middle of the night, people trying to sell you rip-off crap at the door, jack offs ramboing on the CB all night. You know it's rat hole when the cops are just there hanging out to keep watch of the place.

There were zero spots when I rolled in, so I circled the parking lot a couple times and finally it jumped out at me: there's a spot right next to the dumpsters behind the Wendy's just large enough to parallel park a rig into. Was I supposed to park there? Probably not, but I did anyway and nobody bothered me about it.

The truckstops outside of Dallas are so much more pleasant. My favorite is the Petro at Exit 409 on I20. Puts you within 1 hour of delivery in DFW without the headaches.

Flying J in Texarkana if you don't get there at a Decent hour OMG!!!!! Pilot in Hesperia, CA off 15 super busy. The Flying J at exit 0 state line of Cali and AZ The Pilot off 285 in ATL and The Loves in Dallas at 20 and 35. I went to a Loves off US-75 that was just filty. and I got a few more just can't think off em off the top of my head.

I don't stop there period. Not even to ####! Did once to fuel before heading south on 59 with my old employer and was there over an hour.

The new Loves at exit 213 is a better alternative. It's as if they learned from the Flying J and added 2 entrances for trucks.
