I was backing into a space at the TA in Prescott, AR tonight. As I was going in, it didn't seem like it was going in right so I stopped. Just as I did that, another driver got on the radio and said if I kept going back I was going to hit the mirror on the truck on my right.

I got out to check it out and just as I went around the back of the trailer the driver in the truck to the right comes flying out of his truck screaming that I hit his truck. He got right in my face and I swear I was about to get punched. He proceeded to scream at me on the finer points of backing and that my best bet would be to get back in my truck and leave that truckstop. I tried to apoloigize and that I knew where he was coming from, as my truck had been hit in the past while someone was backing. I offered to give him my contact info. He repeated that I needed to leave. I asked where I hit him and he said that it was in the tire with my DOT bumper. He then got back in his truck, still screaming at me to get lost.

After seeing the situation wasn't going to get any better. I walked back to my truck and found another spot.

I don't see how I could have hit his tire with the DOT bumper without doing damage to his fender. Do you think I hit him or was he just some guy trying to scare the bejeezus out of another driver?

It sounds like he needs to lay off the methamphetamine... How was his oral hygiene? Did he have a bunch of scars on his face and arms?

It truly sounds like he was tweaking. He may just not be deep enough in his addiction yet to have the physical effects start showing.

Attitude adjustment time! IF you did hit his truck I can understand being upset but not to the extent you described.

Even if you did hit him, you don't act like an idiot. He sounds like one of these that complain about everything. What was he trying to prove? He knows how to throw a temper tantrum. It's funny when a whiney baby meets reality. You should of cold-####ed him. :)

There would be some kind of mark if you hit him. If it's that close, get out and look before it doesn't feel right.

If you did hit his truck, he wouldn't be telling you to leave.

That's what I was thinking, unless he was doing drugs or something that might get him in trouble if the police were called. I dunno. I'm not parking here again, between the potholes in the parking lot and the construction, this TA sucks!
