I tell you all what... Maverick is one top-notch, squared-away company. I am REALLY IMPRESSED. Now about half-way thru the Load Securement training, and although we have been going hard everyday since I arrived for Orientation and Training, I am thoroughly enjoying it. All the great things Maverick Drivers have been saying on here is really true. Outstanding. Very happy with my choice to try to become a Maverick.

?..... Maybe I am reading this wrong but your first and last sentence's are wishing Jim the best of luck as if he is just starting at Maverick. He has been with them for like almost 2 years. I would say he has had pretty good luck/success with them -
Sorry to hear that that 15 over is the real killer. Hopefully the time will pass fast. -

Well just got home Saturday afternoon. Monday morning I got drafted to do dedicated this week. Did two rounds up into Wisconsin wasn't too bad. Monday morning I'll go drop the trailer back off at central states and backup to my flatbed and hopefully be back to my US division. Like I say I work US division/whatever the heck maverick needs division. LOL hope everybody has a great week and drive safe and enjoy the ride.

Yes it is my only ticket in three years but technically it is 2 tickets. One for the Speeding and one for the seat belt. I am bummed out about not being able to come back. I never thought when I left that I would miss flatbedding.
I was a tanker yanker before I was a flatbedder, now I am back to pulling tanks and missing flatbedding..weird how it all works.
I don't blame Maverick I blame myself. I certainly knew better than to go without my seat belt. Especially nowadays. I had been doing major reconstruction to my pickup and had to borrow my uncles car. A mid 90's Caddy CTS (yep, the big 300 HP version) and I was having a little fun with the power. It is what it is..
I wasn't aware that I could go before the judge and ask that I take Driving School to remove the ticket. I paid it and you can't get it removed from your MVR once it is paid. If I had known I would have went to court but it's too late now.Last edited: Dec 4, 2011

I know what you mean I have to watch myself when I'm on my bike. There's been a few times things that have been shall we say not good for a CDL holder. Don't want to explain 100 mile an hour plus ticket shall we say. Well at least you're still working and time will go by fast. Drive safe have a good weekend.
