Ok nashville i got ya, but that's what came to me when you said bridge laws. I will check out rand mcnally and read more into it.

 

It really doesn't have much to do with modern bridge construction and weight limits. Its more a restriction brought into being to prevent the use of 53-foot trailers in many states years ago. However, in times of low revenue, it is useful for raiding your wallet.

Are you going to add a comment to my backing post? I would love your opinion with a few years under your belt of driving. I think I remember reading your student posts about a year after I started driving, so like maybe 08? Any thoughts on this video would be appreciated.

 

Sure is. But my issue was that i was talking about the weight limit on the tractor-trailer combo with full tanks on the lightweight and nashville brought up the bridge law thing and i tried to explain to him what it was and nashville said it was more to it than that and i said ok. I was not trying to get into it about the bridge law thing even though it is some how all connected.....oh well.

 

Oh, by the way how do everyone but me post on a thread and activate it where it highlights the thread topic? What i mean is thread topic like ask your question here about prime is not highlighted in dark black letters then some poster comes along and post then it is highlighted in dark lettering as soon as that person finish posting. i put up a post in 2 threads and no one responded to it in 3 days, i guess because it was not highlighted after i posted.

 

When it's highlighted, it means there are posts you have not read. Once you've activated the last page, the highlight disappears. It's not something you control.

 

It doesnt show high lighted to you, but it does to everyone else.

 

So if that is true, i guess no one wanted to respond to what i said then. that sucks
