Anybody know of any must have apps ? Excluding games.

Just got the thing, and I'm having trouble finding apps that resemble what I had with the droid :(

The usual Top "insert number" list are completely useless so far.

No....my first mistake was buying a Motorola Droid. I liked the OS. Phone was a POS.

BTW....are you still having issues with that slide to answer?

    I'm not :biggrin_25522:

I thought TransFlo charged for using the service. Not speaking of the app purchase.

I was also informed the company had to be set up to utilize it.

Is any of that true ??

Besides weatherbug, TA, Loves, shopsavvy, opera mini browser, flashlight, truckernet if you have a freightliner or W star, and pandora, nope.
i4s and Moto Xoom. Best tools for the job. Siri still sucks though.

Siri is a mixed bag for me, and one of the reasons I got the Iphone. Voice recognition is good. But, it has trouble at times understanding what I say with my hillbilly accent. The ability to place that call without searching for listings helps a lot.

I gave some thought to weatherbug and the weather channel. But decided to wait. I need a "smarter" weather app. So the one that's included works for now.

So if anyone knows of a good weather app, that follows you without having to insert the location data. Please share.

I've used The Weather Channel Max and like it. It displays weather at current location and I've loaded in several favorite locations to see what the weather is like where I'm going.

There's a free app for Pilots/Loves, and one for TA/Petro. The one for TA even tells you how many parking spaces and showers are available. I also have an app called Waze that is a pretty good GPS/traffic app, and it's free.
