    Hello Everyone. :biggrin_25511:

Wouldn't you know it. My first official breakdown where I have to stay overnight in a motel, courtesy of USX.

On my way into St. Louis I got a check engine light and a DEF warning light when I was an hour away from the receiver. I pulled over ASAP, contacted breakdown, and went through a REGEN process. The DEF light went out, but the check engine light stayed on. So I finished my delivery and then headed to the Freightliner dealer for service. It turns out that the DEF pump is not injecting a sufficient amount of fluid and needs to be replaced. Only problem............nobody has one......locally that is.

So I'll get to sleep in a bed, watch TV, and take a nice shower tonight and hopefully the new pump will be in by morning.

I can't say enough about how well USX has handled this situation. They got me a room immediately, and to call them if there are any problems. I'm liking these guys.

The initial time for getting a new pump was 3 days, but the F/L dealer thinks they can get one tomorrow. And the dealer was nice enough to put me in a van and get me to my hotel.

I guess I'll have some time to catch up on my TTR reading.

    And dinner is being delivered.................PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'll keep you updated.

    Thanks for reading.
