Looks like I'm headed to Missoula for orientation! Unless I'm speaking too soon . . .
I like everything I've heard about them, both from the recruiter and from all the input on this forum. 10 days and then I'm on the road, that might be the best part. The physical work I might see doesn't scare me a bit, I need the exercise, lol.
Just waiting for the safety guy to call today and then I'll take the HPE exam and my understanding is that the next step is a bus ticket for Dec 26th.
My home terminal will be Vancouver WA.
I hope I'm not jinxing anything by posting this early in the process . . .
Thanks to everyone here for all the info, you guys represent your company well. A special shout-out to American Trucker, maybe someday I'll finish reading your ridiculously long thread!

Hey Spacester. Yeah, nobody can say AT is not complete when he posts. I just wonder when he has a chance to drive. LOL. The hardest part about physical work is the THOUGHT of it. Hell I'm 62 and I'm goin' for it. I just hope I can do my 90 days without something happening. But what to heck, 'no risk; no reward'. Good luck.

Thanks, guys!
As a long time office worker, I figure if I'm going to work for a living, I might as well work for a living. -
