Looking for job in Alberta

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that my employer got case number for the LMO, after 2 months and 12 days(in case someone needs this information in the future). Anyways, I have a question for you all, is there a way to check and see which company is registered within government agencies or something? Service Canada maybe... I'm not sure how things work over there, but over here we have something called 'business register' where you can get pretty much any information on any company..any help?

Well, I'm sure that since you read my thread, you'd know what is required for the process. So I will just skip to the part of how did I actually get the job offer.
Just like you, I sent countless emails, I called employers and I applied through this website www.jobserve.com (sorry if I'm braking any rules by posting that address).
After quite some time, I was contacted by this man from Canada saying that there may be some difficulties in getting the required paperwork done, and I replied with the usual email I send when I got emails like this one(I already had an answer to all possible emails because most of them were just the same, questions they asked me were the same, et cetera). But I was quite surprised when the next mail arrived saying we should arrange an interview via skype, as I suggested. The interview went well, I was hired and I explained my employer what does he need to do in order for me to get the work permit and all(he needed to submit an application for the LMO in "Service Canada"). Right now, I got a case number and I am hoping that I won't have any problems with the embassy, which could as well deny my application for work permit. Also, I fear that I may not be able to convince the immigration officer in the embassy that I will come back to Serbia once my work permit expires, as I have no intentions of doing that
So..That would be it, I guess. If there is anything specific you would like me to write about, post a question and I will do my best to help.. I was also thinking that, once all this is done, I open a new thread and write about the whole process and all the details.. Pozdrav i tebi

I sent pretty much the same email to all of the companies. I had cover letter, CV and 3 recommendation letters all attached to the email and i wrote something not to leave email body empty, like
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in regards to possible employment in your company if you have any opened positions blah blah you know how that goes
Hope I helped!
