I'm at the Conover terminal until tomorrow morning then off to do this 15 stop run. All of which are in New Jersey.
Oh well. I may it may not change trucks again while I am there. For once it's my choice. We shall see.

How many times have you changed trucks? You don't want whats left in NJ. Just one '05 Volvo with about 800,000+ on it, thats being turned in for sale.

I'm still on original 05 Volvo with 710K now on clock...I wouldn't even think of trading her... -
if thats it you should jump on it and hold onto it as long as you can.
American Trucker -
Truck 1: 1849. The night I finished orientation vern picked me up in this truck. We teamed to ga and up to sayreville in it. I asked to stay I'm it but because I was to new I wasn't allowed. Total time in truck was 1 week.
Truck 2: 1678. My first official truck. 2 days into it it had problems. All electrical. Toughed it out until I finally got to modesto. Total time in truck was 2 weeks.
Truck 3: 1688. Moved into this truck and enjoyed it. Plenty of room, no mechanical issues, but that was ruined by a call from tim asking a favor of me. Me being so new I obliged without realizing I was in for another move. Total time in truck was 2 weeks.
Truck 4: 1790. This truck made me a volvo fan. It was smaller but very comfortable, plenty of power, and a smooth, cadillac-esqe ride. Sadly I was just shuttling this truck to missoula to be sold. Total time in truck was 2 weeks.
Truck 5: 1705. Another volvo, but it was mine! Or so I thought. Kelby was sure to tell me it was being traded this month so I had to change again. Total time in truck was about 3 weeks.
Truck 6: 1815. My current truck, all set up the easy I like it. ISX Cummins and a brand new feeling meritor transmission. Its had a fee gremlins but nothing major. But now I am faced with getting another truck. At least this time I have a choice though.
So that's the story of my time here at watkins. With the exception of the truck swapping I've had no complaints.

I'm back in Conover. Leave today for Michigan. Turn in my third truck up there. It is being sold. It needs to be. After driving Freights and Volvos I'll take a freightshaker any day. Don't like the interior in this Volvo. But I think the Cummins pulled better than the Detroit. Just hauled a load of beer up to ashville. No problem. With that said you know I'll get assigned a Volvo
