Serial number off back of TND. And did you purchase the newest maps yet?

I am looking at the next set of maps and it correctly shows Spearfish, SD. So, it just may be a map error that has been corrected.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I finally got my TND dcok to load on my computer and the update went great. I also backed up my files and did an integirty check. All is fine. How often should I do map updates? I purchased my TND in September 2011. If and when I need to update my maps, how is it done? Is it done automatically when I do updates from my dock? Thanks for any help. My GPS works great and has not let me down once.

Had to send in my TND 510 to get the power button repaired and after I got it back majority of the POIs got deleted or something, the only ones it can find is the ones under Travel Stops and nothing else. Is there an easy way to restore it without sending it in again? Thanks.

don't know if this helps anyone. i've notice that when i use the poi suggestion to select the rout it can go way wrong. for instance i used a pre programed poi to take me to a freight liner dealership. needles to say it was wrong... way wrong. the address and description on the poi label was correct but the actual concordances were wrong. when i punched in the address manually it was correct. who ever programmed the poi got it wrong... sorry mr and mrs smith... didn't mean to wake you up...lol
