I'm not convinced they ignored you. You're not the only applicant to Swift. You were probably placed in line behind everyone else who was calling in. I guess you'll take the bus ticket for next Wednesday, then.

You should probably feel fortunate they returned your call at all. Swift is giving you another shot at it. Some companies wouldn't bother.

Maybe you should wait until you actually have a legitimate claim against Swift before posting something like this in the Bad Companies forum. This had absolutely nothing to do with Swift. Rather, it had everything to do with someone who wanted to show off an old Mustang to his classmates. We see how that worked out.

I wish you fortune going forward. You already have a jump on your classmates. You now understand the importance of pretripping your vehicle.

@Otter: Thousands of drivers are doing just fine at Swift. Some of them were even your students. Unfortunately, we usually only hear from people who have a complaint about the company. But you already know that and the only purpose for your comment was to get my attention. You miss me over in the Hijackers' thread?

one thing is for sure i leave dec. 27 for columbus oh for swift and i could have drove my new truck down their i live in michigan so it aint that far but i am taking the bus so if any thing happens it wont be my fault for sure cant wait to leave monday and get rolling! why should i put wear and tear on my truck when its a free ride ??????????
