Stopped at the truck stop at routes 15 & 492 in Union, MS for a quick snack. Parked beside truck 12345. I feel sorry for that driver having to remember such a hard truck number like that. lol

Took 10 hrs of driving but I made it to archbold. Parked at the marathon. Went to the super food.saver and got one of their roasted chickens. Thought of sewerman as I consumed it.
It was nice driving through Ohio. Made me think of my parents. This will be the first Christmas without one of them living....for.both me and my wife. It has been tough but time marches on.
I will roll over to daydream around 0630. Hopefully after I am unloaded they will tell me to head home.
I am taking the week of between Christmas and New Year. -
Forgot to mention that I got a fuel bonus for both trucks and the ever appreciated referral bonus!

Got in right away at sauder. There were two other maverick drivers. One helped me and.then I parked and helped him then the next guy. Came back over to the marathon and just got my deadhead home. Told me to check in on Tuesday... I reminded them that I am off all next week.
This week certainly was more relaxed than last week....except.for.Monday. I love it when I have a full day of driving between loads.
In case I do not.get back on here, everyone have a Merry Christmas and remember Jesus is The Reason For The.Season!Danfromwindsor Thanks this. -

Merry Christmas to all present and soon to be Maverick drivers.
The SWN Division has been busy lately. It's made for a few nice paychecks since I came back to work on November 28th after a month off with no pay. We pre-filled yesterday for our next well which doesn't start until January 2nd so next week will be bad for us and bad for some of you because all of our trucks and trailers will be taking up alot of space on the yard. Since there isn't an Orientation class next week, they're bringing us in Tuesday for our quarterly CBL (a SWN requirement) training. We'll also be cleaning our equipment and repairing hoses. On slow weeks they'll even let a couple of us come in and help out in the tarp shop. On Wednesday we're having a drivers meeting. 6 of our drivers will be heading to someplace in Missouri to pick up 6 new trailers which should take us up to around 27 total.
Maverick gets $38,000 a day every day we're on a well. I say that just in case any of you ever wonder if our division makes any money.JimTheHut Thanks this. -
I forgot to mention that Maverick is experimenting with propane assisted fuel injection. Right now they're trying it out on two sand trucks. They've taken off the side box in the right side and installed the propane tank. It supposedly adds 70 more horse power and increases fuel economy. The drivers that have driven these trucks say it eliminates alot of down shifting going up hills. The down side is that there is only one place in NLR where we can get into to fill the propane tanks which need filled about once every 24 hrs. When we're busy, it's not unusual for the sand trucks to run almost constantly. If this experiment with the sand trucks works out then they're going to try it on a few Maroon trucks. If the propane tanks run out of gas the truck will still run as usual minus the 70 hp.
JimTheHut Thanks this.
