    Cool, they will pay what a bus ticket costs to get to Orientation if I drive up to Lewiston? I drive a VW TDI and from Boise, should be about a 1/4 tank of diesel.

    Bus ticket to Lewiston would get me a full tank. SCORE!

    So, I am trying to figure out why this got put on the "Report a Bad Company" section? It was Swift's fault that the OP's car broke down? Gee, maybe you should sue? lol

    i have to take this that you must be one of the super truckers that knows everything about every trucking company out their :biggrin_2551::biggrin_2553:but i dont think so swift is one of the better ones out their i know frist hand because i have worked for TMC what a joke and prime also everyone i have talked with aint had to meny bad things to say about swift :biggrin_25519:thats where i am and thats were i am staying:biggrin_25522:

    You said a mouthfull then. I almost made that mistake. Now I'm holding back until Summer. Trucking is going nowhere, why put yourself in a bad position?

    I recommend that you tell your recruiter what happened, and appreciate it if he can bus you to the terminal. When you go out with your mentor it's going to be a long 7 weeks, your car can stay home. Swift will bus you home for your home time. Also you have to remember that swift has very little or minimal concern about anything personal related, telling your recruiter you were homeless and you broke down doesn't do anything, take the bus, and during your training stay in a swift approved hotel. They will shuttle you via hotel and back, you don't need your car.
