Well guys, I worked 5.5hrs today. I saw two different accidents that could have been avoided. I stress the importance of driving in bad conditions especially rain. The first accident was a car spun out in the ditch. second one was spun out on the side of the road. I have a rule of thumb of not going fast enough to hydroplane. I do not like the feeling and know what happen as I said above. Now I did my first tank swap in the dark as the storms knocked out power in Titusville. Seeing those accidents reminded me that an accident can happen in an second.

Well I had another fun day today. I put in six hours with the majority of them spent driving the F350. I love that truck so much compared to the newer 350's out there powered by the 6.7L Powerstroke. Compared to the 6.7, I still think the 7.3 is the best out there.
First I got to make a p/u at a place that used a bunch of our equipment. After that I got dispatched on a three stop run. At my first stop, no one was there. I called in and requested that I leave his order there and collect my MT. Got approval for that. Wasting no time I got to my second stop, a very expensive Italian Ristorante that is very expensive yet very clean and nice. Again no one was there. I then made my delivery to my third stop without trouble. I then backtracked to my second stop and discovered the owner and his staff were there. Everything in there was super clean. By clean, I mean I could eat off their kitchen counters if they made me. I then made my way back to shop for my next assignment.
I got orders to box dry ice for my usual run on this day. I did get ordered to take the smaller Ranger. I love that truck. It is a nice break to have that thing when going to customers that have small delivery entrances. Upon entering the Ranger, I noticed my fuel level was on "E." I fueled up at my assigned fuel stop and made my way to the customer. After a quick drop, I ran a special errand for my boss and made my way back to the shop. Got orders to fill tanks and load them up on the 350. While filling, my boss scared the crap out me. Upon being surprised, I screamed like a girl per him. My boss subsequently called me a girl as a result. By then it was time to close up and lock up. A wonderful day at the office. I love this job and it feels good.

Well guys last week went well with no big surprises. This week is off to a great start. I spent most of today on the road going to and from customers. One customer even apologized for stuff that was his fault rather than mine.
Now for interesting news. My doctor's nurse called me up and told me my adenoids were enlarge and referred me to another specialist as my doctor does not do surgeries. Ok this is where I have issues as I have done one x-ray and one cat scan. Before I was on a nebulizer taking prescribed fluid. I have spent $$ only to be told this. Now I may have to spend more $$$ to get more cat scans and x-rays. I personally think the nebulizer treatment could have been avoided by doing a simple cat-scan. Do not get me wrong the treatments helped but only a little. I am no fan of having them but a cat scan is a lot less $$$ than the treatment and machine I bought. So, I have to get a consult from this new doctor and go from there. Sorry to complain but this gets very tired after a while.

Hello ladies and gentleman,
This week has gone great for me. I am getting more hours than normal. Also, a lot of my time has been spent on the routes. I just love getting out of the shop but at the same time love maintaining the shop and keeping it organized. Anyways, it seems the holiday has alive as nearly everybody has been polite and courteous to me.
Now do not get me wrong, some people have been rude. I was at a customer picking up our tanks when the manager realized he made a wrong move and decided to keep one. He apologized and was very nice. There was no rudeness nor disrespect. Also, one of our new customers introduced me as my name ,rather than the usual deliver driver, to his managers that will see me whenever I come to service his company. The personal touch made my day and made me feel happy.
Recently, a couple of things have made me very happy. A customer came in and needed his 20lb tank filled up. It was out of certification. In addition, for a home kegerator it was overkill as a 5lb will last five to six kegs. Getting eight out of one 5lb is not uncommon. Anyways, he wanted to get the 20lb recert'd and I was a able to sell him a 5lb.
Secondly, keeping your customers happy is vital but them making sure I am happy: I am just a delivery guy not the customer. I went a bar and let the bartender know I was changing out and the Co2 would be down. I swapped out one tank and returned to collect my pay. While there everyone wished me "Happy Holidays." The bartender that I normally deal with asked me how I was doing and how everything in general was doing was going. That there was a nice as my routine is: Go in and check tank level and move on.

Well guys, this week went really well. I got more hours than normal and am pleased with that. The one thing I am proud of is me gaining more self-esteem and self confidence in myself. I did help my boss fix a major pieces of equipment and get that into service. My boss was kind of enough to me off this Monday. Overall, this is a great fit for me. I wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year.

How about posting a family picture for Christmas?

Ok, let me say this about my route driver: He is the best co-worker I have had even if he did not give me something for x-mas. His expert toolage saved me today. He gave me a hickory farms sample set for x-mas. That really made my evening. Gifts like that mean a lot for me as I never knew how much I meant to him. I will do the same thing in return.

Hickory Farms is good eatin' stuff. That's great you're going to reciprocate.
Regarding the picture, maybe just you and the cat or whatever you got.
Merry Christmas Hunter...The Challenger Thanks this.
