I apologize, American Trucker. I thought that I clicked on a different thread when I posted about being leased to AT. I thought I had clicked on a CRST Malone thread. Oops.:biggrin_25515:

Did my drop n' hook this morning at 0730. Another lst driver came in right after i did. Now were both at this resteraunt with truck parking waiting for a load for our mt flats. We both just dropped steps and were hopeing for steps but all they had were flats for us they have like 20 loaded steps though lol

Well....still here haha No load for me today. My dispatcher will be back in the office tomorrow so i'm hopeing to get outta here early tomorrow morning.

Just tried the resteraunt here....not bad. Got me some BBQ Plate, with Green beans, Cole Slaw, and rolls all for like $10. You can deffinatly tell this is a small town the waitress and all the customers are all know each other lol

The other driver that was here...when he got here, i see his big red hood come into the lot, then i hear this HORRIBLE metal sound....He never raised his landing gear :biggrin_2559: and the enterance to this resterant/"truck Stop" is quite steep lol No damage done except to his pride of course. He must have gotten a load because i woke up from one of the many naps i took today and he was gone.

What do you mean? Like Quality? yea the Petes are way better. This (other then the 2011 I did my test drive in) is the newest pete i've ever driven, i used to drive a 2001 379. I have also driven FL Classics and FLD's and Petes are 1000000 times better, much smoother quiter ride and looks 1000 times better inside and out.

It sure is a PIA driveing a hood again (some times, although i wouldnt ever give it up) after being in a aero truck for so long lol got SWING this sum beach! :biggrin_2559:

Got a load this afternoon QC wasnt working, i attempted to get signal by moving the truck....didnt work but i did find that other driver he was still there and still MT he said " i moved over here yesterday because all the woman were comeing out of the door on this side" he also said " the prostitutes didnt stop knocking on his truck all night" lol funny i didnt see any on my side of the building :biggrin_2553: I want some! NOT! :biggrin_25523:

Anyway we both ended up getting the same load....Loads Tomorrow morning 8am-4pm in Aiken, SC going to the Middle of 1-40 in TX for next TUESDAY! :biggrin_2559:

But again LST has shown just how awesome they are. My dispatcher said, pick it up and you can go home then just leave whenever and get it there tuesday morning. I asked a 2nd time to make sure he knew i live 142 mile OUT OF ROUTE lol he said "I'd rather have you do that then be stuck sitting on your ##### in a truck stop for a few days":biggrin_25514:

Thats what i'm talking about! A Dispatcher and a company that care about their drivers!

Its 20 - 21 hours from Shipper to receiver, so i could be at the truck stop an hour away from the receiver by Friday night....so i'm deffinatly happy to get to go home instead of spending 3.5 days sitting in a truck stop.

Also this load has to be tarped. :biggrin_2553: Good thing is the other driver said he'd show me how to do it. But with my luck i'll be there when they open at 8am and he'll stroll in around 1pm after i spent the last 5 hours playing with my tarp and duct tape getting it all nice and tight :biggrin_2559: Thats how you Get R' Tight right? :biggrin_2559:

we haul equipment....its the holidays apparently allot of plants close for the holidays and some customers close for a month for the holiday. I'd rather start off slow rather then balls to the wall since i need to learn how to secure and tarp.
