Not even going to try elogs? Personally, I don't mind them at all. Anything that requires less paperwork for me is a good thing!

Oh you poor baby. Gonna quit because you are being forced to run legally.
MNdriver, Elvenhome21, Southpaw7391 and 2 others Thank this. -
give them a few weeks, if you understand the hours of service and know how to plan a trip they're not going to change things very much. Take your time, ask questions of your safety department/eLog manager and roll with it. They're not as bad as everyone fears.Southpaw7391 and Skip1965 Thank this. -
I've been on elogs for two weeks. At first I was ready to start lookin too. But, like most things its not that bad when you figure out how it works. If you like where your at is give it a couple of weeks to settle into it. Cause the riality is everybody will be on it in the near future.

I too was skeptical of elogs. Now I don't want to go back to paper!
You have to see elogs benefit the driver. They force planners/FM to do their work. These guys are no longer able to pressure you into making up for their mistakes. You can't even call it mistakes, because they know what their doing . They go home every night & are accustomed to having drivers jump through their arses to make them look good delivering impossible loads that have set somewhere longer than being pulled down the road. With paper logs they are few & far between in respecting you. Solely because they know your away from home & need the money.
You won't take a cut in pay, but you will level the playing field between you and planning/FM + gain a better life on the road getting the rest, opportunity for exercise, and personal time to again be human.
There are only a FEW basic tricks to elogs. Once you know them, they become everyday habit moving forward.Southpaw7391, skullitor, MNdriver and 7 others Thank this. -
Heaven forbid we run legal these days.
Elvenhome21 Thanks this. -

The laws arent there for safety all they do is limit our income....
