All-
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your priceless help and advice to us rookies.
I am 2 weeks away from going to orientation and the training from my school has been top notch. That said, you learn very little "real world" information. You just learn what you need to know to get a CDL license.
The information you have provided me (and others) with, although second nature to you, is invaluable to us. For that I wanted to share my gratitude.
I am very happy that I happened upon this website before starting my new career.
I wish you all a very happy new year. Please have a very safe 2012 on the road!
My sincere thanks....

Good luck in your new career deviltalk!
I think everyone who wants to "be a trucker," should have to spend a few weeks looking at this forum before actually deciding to try it! So many people, from the young folks just starting out, to the older guys who are retired from another career have a false view of what it is.deviltalk Thanks this. -

Best of luck,

P.S. BlackW900 and MasterTech conspired to give me the moniker "BigDummy". It was a well deserved and accurate moniker but I have delusions that one day it can be changed to just "Dummy".deviltalk Thanks this. -
