Oh my I get a headache just reading all that. He plans to opt out. ASAP but he has 2 more months to go? Im also wondering when his tuition reimbursement is supposed to kick in. I think its over 60 days since his hire date and they told us 30 days. This is such a learning curve for us. Luckily we personally know a good cpa who understands all this. So hopefully she'll help us get this figured out. I think she's already explained it to him and as long as he understands, Im good.

The process to print your logs is there's a webite to go to and you enter in certain info and a password. (schneider sent out passwords last year unsure how it works today) then you print off logs. I however fortax reasons keep a daily planner and record my starting point and finish point everyday even when home at end of every month i add up days and put the info in front of the planner i then just add up the days and tell my cpa at tax time. the cpa only needs # of days to claim them you need logs if you get audited.

I have never heard of it until now so i can't answer i do know that they watch your idle, and over a certain amount of idle you lose your bonus. Some driver's always idle their truck as if the fuel is free. I'm not saying any one in paticular but i've been in the OC and walked in with driver's who just got out of a running truck, they go in eat and watch tv during conversation heard driver's say " I'm not gonna get my bonus anyway due to overspeed so i always idle my truck 24/7" so i always idle to be comfy and if i don't need to i won't.

Aren't these bonuses seperate from each other?
Does doing poor in one area affect the areas you do well in?

I'm looking to get what I can.

The bonuses used to be seperate but they are all one, I believe you need overspeed under 5% and idle varies by LOB but around 10% and then there's no incidents or accidents and no service failures.

Keeping warm won't be a problem. Webasto heater will run you out of the truck it gets so warm.
