dont know what he did for breakfast and dinner but i ate. lol. 1st day, they give you 50 dollars cash. box lunches are provided to all students (1st and 2nd weekers) breakfast and dinner is on you. Funny but sad how many people were broke 2 days or less after they were given 50 dollars. They were the ones that just had to sample the fare up the street at the Iron Stomach, i mean iron skillet. The guys whos 50 lasted a bit longer were those that chose to go up the street and return with a bag or two of "gut grenades" (burgers, hot dogs). There is a grocery store (food lion or kroger) to the left of the walmart (which is a super walmart) where you and anyone else can stock up on breakfast, dinner supplies.

Breakfast for me was canned pineapple in pineapple juice.
    Lunch was whatever Maverick provided.
Dinnertime, I like to cook so when all would pile in the van to go to wallymart, i'd go with grab some kind of fish and grill it back at hq wearing my "chef's hat"
Sewerman came over to the grill one evening (as he tells it to see who this crazy guy was grilling with a chefs hat on) and i think the next night, we had steak and shrimp (super walmart), split the cost of the food and chowed down back at the terminal (was prepackaged steaks and ####tail shrimp but per person was around 5 bucks) .
Sewerman has to help me with this part of the story but word got round that sarge was cooking. (as i remember it, i was his personal dinner chef for 2 days) so anyone who wanted in on the night's cooking would split the bill for the groceries. By the end of the week we had 10-15 people it was whatever entre, vegetables, salad, drinks and usually would end up being about 5 bucks per person. With no stove, the entre had to be grilled but somehow, we did have a big pot full of chili one night

KRoskey, larry5853 and MtDewMan Thank this.
