Well, yesterday came out and took a short load from Allentown,PA to Manassas,VA. Got empty and now I'm on a 5 stopper that picked up in Strasburg, VA. First stop Riverside, CA, 2nd stop Oxnard, CA, then Fremont, CA, Pleasant Grove,CA and finals out in Portland,OR. That's 3700 miles plus 55 deadhead and extra stop pay for 4 stops. Maybe you gotta learn how to work kid.

Forget Knight, I mean immediately. There are some good smaller companies in the MN/SD area that will treat you better and you will make $10-$15K more a year.

Parked for the night in Portland, Oregon at Albertson's. Appt is at 9:00 am and I'll be able to get a good night's sleep. Not a bad trip, over 3700 miles plus 55 deadhead and 5 stops, all throughout California and final here. In all, that's 4009 miles, legally, on an E-Log. Had 40 minutes to spare on my 70, but I picked up 6.25 hours tonight, but I'm gonna do a 34 so I get a fresh 70. I'll get another long load back east to deliver on Tuesday, and have another 1,000-1,500 for the week after that. It's not hard to make it here. Just gotta work at it.

    Jarhed1964 Thanks this.

BTW, the 4009 miles is from leaving 40 miles north of Allentown, to pick up at Millard, drop that in Manassas,VA deadhead to Strasburg to pick this one up. So. 4009 miles legally on an e-log with a 67 mph truck, and about 1300 of that in 2 55 mph states where I averaged from 58-61 mph. You guys who are so scared of the e-logs, here is proof you can still make miles and money doing it legally. Good night.
