I can sum my efforts to make a case in two words....no luck.

I won't go into all the details but for some reason no one want's to talk to you after you have been turned down. I feel dirty now

 

It's the Government job, they don't want your kind!
Just go with your plan B and get the school done, plenty of companies out there.

 

You know I have wondered about that!

 

Does anyone know of any companies that train (cdl grads or have their own training) in Georgia like Millis does? Or somewhere close by? Trying to keep the training in the south as best as possible.

I know Averitt has a terminal by where I work but they don't hire CDL grads.

 

I think Central Refrigerated does a class at their Conley terminal.

 

Do they hire CDL grads? Is it a decent company or just another chew em' up and spit them out place? Also do they try and push you into a lease? I think I checked them out before and their starting pay is not all that good.

 

I will be honest with you. I like Millis because they don't seem to have a whole lot of hoops to jump through if you want to learn to drive. Problem I am having is finding one similar to them.

 

they do hire grads but they also do a school to get you a cdl. There are a lot of big companies in Atlanta area who do take grads, but you asked for companies with schools if I'm not mistaken.

 

Yeah, I edited that. I meant to say either takes grads or has their own training. Either one as long as I don't get ripped a new one if I go through someone else training
