Hello, My company ecently wrote its own CSA manual , we are a hazmat hauler, and in the manual it says we need to do ERI every 3 hrs. We are in Ohio and I always understood it to be every 2 hrs or 100 miles whichever comes first. Did that rule change or do I need to talk to my boss about revising this? Thanks, have a good day.

You should carry blank BOL forms in your truck.
Filled out properly, it can be legal....airforcetoo Thanks this. -
I've already asked to be given this information or an original Bill of Lading or be relieved from this load... -
is there a proper way to fill out blank BOL's.
LOL
you can buy blank bol's from truckstops. so yes, they are prerfectly legal.
i've had a c ouple of loads that picked up in the middle of nowhere. and didn't come with bol's. they are basically used for billing purposes. nothing to do with d.o.t.
i don't think there's any rules that state specificially that you have to have a bol for a load.
somebody correct me if i'm wrong. -
we seriouisly need to start organizing a strike.
we need to fight everything from the employment verification ########.
the csa
and the hos rules.
canada did it in 90. it's time for america to do the same. our job is literally a JOKE to the govt. -
