DO NOT MENTION THE WORD LAWYER!!!!

It will end all conversations immediately! Just go and consult one without saying anything to them. He will advise you what to do.

    Injun and SHC Thank this.

If they did put in the wrong block you need a lawyer, settle for nothing less than a factory reman complete engine and downtime plus legal fees, and some apologies would be nice

    SHC Thanks this.

I'm still trying to figure why they'd look at the block because they couldn't get a valve clearance right. On an overhead cam engine, you could set the valves with the head on the bench! Something ain't right... maybe the widget dropped something down the galley and had to drop the pan to retrieve it?

I'm smelling a big fat rat, and it ain't cause we're down at the wharf!

Injun, Higgy, SL3406 and 1 other person Thank this.

Higgy, GO GET A LAWYER!!!!! Consultation is usually free and I can almost gurrantee you have a case that any lawyer would take. Do not deal with them anymore directly and let the lawyer do all the work. Invest in the legal side and then everything will get done right and properly.

And don't worry about your relationship with the dealership because that bridge has already been burned!!!

    Higgy Thanks this.

SHC, I sadly admit, you are right. The trust has been broken, and the bridge unrepairable. It clearly was a one sided valued relationship. Rest assured I will keep everyone updated. Thanks to all.
