    Welcome...Good luck.

For orientation, have fun, DON'T be late for anything, don't fall asleep in a lecture no matter how boring (get up and stand in the back if you have to) and you will do fine. There is a ton if info, most will get solified when you are out with your finisher and in your first couple of weeks with your fleet manager.

    Be safe!

Keturah called Wednesday and had to take invite off the table, apparently my work history didn't look good. I had listed periods of seasonal "unemployment" and although I was with the same companies for the calendar years, it looked unstable. Oh well, live and learn, right? Which I did, I filled the next differently for those periods and started orientation today at DM Bowman out of Williamsport, MD. Comparable pay, 45 minutes from home, runnin east of the Miss and Canada to Florida so still some good miles to make, so...
But, Keturah left it at "call back after a few months...", so not a totally wasted effort.
A friend from school did get picked up and is in Joplin now, so glad one of us made it!
But, I want to say thanks for the advice and encouragement, and who knows, may still see y'all out there after all!
    Thanks again and drive wise!

Im talking with Conway now and I was worried about my previous work history. Now Im worried. I worked a seasonal gig for the state and was laid off naturaly at the end, and my next job I was let go, because an army vet was returning to work and I was their most recent hire, so I was out. Other than that I've been at my current job for a year an a half now. You think this will be a problem? I'm not sure if your work history looks like mine or not. Any insight would help. Thanks man.
