To the crybaby whom the shoe fits. You are out of work because your medical card is expired. JBS gave your big neck 6 months to get the sleep study done. They didn't even have to give you a job. They should of done like they do to the high blood pressure people and send you back home. You point the finger at everybody but YOURSELF.

18 Klye bush fan took the sleep study and it was negative. My wife has a Cpap and she was tested negative but was borderline. She took the test because she had problems sleeping. So They are giving her sleeping pills and that relaxes her muscles and the Cpap machine keeps the air flowing.

Next you will be mad because the smokers insurance is higher then non smokers, Or the young person's life insurance is lower then and older person. Life's not fair dude. Grow up and stop blaming everybody for your choices. You have been putting in applications for 2 months give or take and you still at JBS. If JBS was as evil as you say they are. They would of seen your medical card was expireing and flew you home. Instead of having a truck sit idle not making money for a month.

Stop listening to these people enabling you in your blame game antics. Nothing gets done until you take responsibility for your actions. I hope you find a job or get the cpap machine and can pass a medical exam. You know that companies are testing for this so start working out to slim that neck down.

P.S. You want JBS to pay all your medical bills when you came in with a 17 inch neck, and you claim they starved you so I'm sure they didn't help it get any bigger. Say No to blame and yes to responsibility.

Tankerman1974, in your opinion, what company is the best one out there to work for? I'm in school now for my CDL, My husband who has over 39 years trucking experience, He and I are going to do the team driver over the road thing. It seems that every company that we've looked at has a multitude of pro drivers and con drivers, so... how's one to know where to go?

im not pointing the finger at anyone...yea your right, i had a 6 month card...had to wait 3 months for the health insurance to take affect...in the meantime i had to switch from fleet 19 to fleet 6 due to a *itchy fleet manager giving less and less miles per week.. so now i cant afford to take time off from work...as for flying my ### home and not letting me have the truck here with me, dude thats the difference between myself (experience) and yourself (a wannabe)..i knew when my card was expiring and i made sure i got close to home before letting them know....as Daniel said theres too many guys stuff sitting in greeley and that wasnt gonna happen to me... so yea im here now for almost a month now... and yes your right i do BLAME JBS Carriers....as it now i have a $380 medical bill which is my part of the $3600+ bills... So yea your right, i should sit back and blame myself..so i could occur a medical bill, sit here for almost a month with no money to support my family...and i have to face my family on a daily basis as they ask what are we going to do, what are we going to have for supper.. hell breakfast is off the table, and we barely have a lunch...so you wanna be truck driver.. you better concentrate on learning to drive in a blizzard, high winds, ice storms, hurricanes, snow storms, and leave the real trucking to the real people out there with experience...By the way, this sleep Apnea is a crock of @hit, as its not a dot, or fmcsa or and guidelines.... so yea i will sit here and blame JBS CARRIERS

heres a really good article that MRB's and fmcsa and dot had about a month ago... when you all get a minute there are a feww good points in this article...

    1) Unquestionably, apnea is fairly common in society,” Spencer added later. “Does apnea result in very many crashes? Real accident analysis suggests it doesn’t. It’s going to be far more likely that somebody just didn’t have the opportunity to get restorative sleep because that’s not an easy thing for truck drivers to do.
“Every day those who are on the road – their struggle is to find someplace where they can stop and sleep. And where they won’t get bothered, rousted and run out. Those things people need to do to maintain alertness we’re discouraged from. Drivers don’t set their own schedules; they work around everyone else’s.”

    2)
“I think the cart is way ahead of the horse on this issue,” Spencer said. “Everyone we have heard from has had an economic interest in expanding what they characterize as an epidemic.”

Just as i have been saying this sleep apnea is all about MONEY and nothing more then that...
here the article if you care to read and educate yourself..

i do BLAME JBS Carriers....as it now i have a $380 medical bill which is my part of the $3600+ bills...

Why are you blaming JBS. You keep mentioning the part of the bill the insurance pay. You only pay 380 dollars. Dude I use to pay 200 a week for insurance and you crying about 380 bucks are u kidding me. You can call it whatever you want. The Policy was in effect when you got hired, and you had all the opportunity in the world to go somewhere else. Its Your fault all your fault. Jbs didn't spring nothing on you. Its trucking. You have good and bad weeks. You were going to have to take time off reguardless. So Its your fault you didn't get a job b4 your medical card expired. ALL your fault if JBS don't want to hire healthy people they can. If they want to hire unhealthy they can. Start your own company and make the rules.

Was JBS responsible for the companies you went to b4 JBS? To make you life pay check to pay check b4 you came here. Is JBS responsible for your wife not working? Welfare is for when bad times hit. Don't feel bad you had to do what you do. But put on your man briches and get out and get food for your family instead of typing about what you don't have. There's food banks and churches who help people. How many of your buddies from truckers forum has set up a fund for you and your family? If I had it I'd be glad to help you out.

When people come up to me in the truck stop asking for help. If they come w/excuses. I tell them I don't have it. But if they come asking if there is some type of work they can do. I have no problem giving them all that I can. Its attitude bro, and maybe that's the sleep apnea symptom, or being a truck driver 2 long attitude. Any way G nite. Bob tailing to Greeley from Houston. JB$$$
FYI for all. TRUCKING COMPANIES ARE NOT DESIGNED TO MAKE YOU RICH!! THEY ARE DESIGNED TO MAKE A PROFIT.

no kidding i will complain about a $380 medical bill...as i didnt need to occur this bill...if it was part of the dot physical then i would be quite...but since its not i will not sit here and be quite....i have been driving since 1997 and i never had to take a dam hand out from anyone or any agency, so yea this bothers me to have to do this...when in reality im am more then capable of working... and yes since this is a @hitty jbs policy it is there fault....some day when you can graduate to at least big boy pants and wake up and smell the coffee, i will be here saying i told you so...but its so good to have you back on the message boards, welcome back ### @uck TARD
