You can take up to 2,000 mg. Of acetamethaphine a day or 24 hr. Period
And combine it with 500mg. Of naproxium sodium a day or 24 hr. Period
Tell the doc. You want 800 mg of the acetamethaphine and 6hr. Increments
and 250mg. Of naproxium sodium for 12 hr. Increments
That's what I took after I had wrist surgery from a construction injury
it worked good with the combo plus
It saves ya the sick or dizzy feeling from the narcotic painkillers

So.. Where is the best area to pick a dolly up? Do they have handles? Why does this happen if they have handles?
-
Some of the newer ones have handles that double as a place to hang the safety chains when not in use. If they dont have handles, just grab the frame rail.
If you are pushing it around the yard by hand for whatever reason, grabbing the eye is the easiest way. But this is when there is no chance of you crushing your hand, like if you just need to push a dolly 10 feet or so. But when going to drop the dolly onto the pintle hook, never grab it by the eye!!!Wargames, Injun and formertaxidriver Thank this. -
Did you or did you not get workmans' comp? You got hurt on the job and the company is responsible. I hope you've reported it to your supervisor when it happened so they can do what they must do. Everywhere I've been (5 states) W/C was no problem if the accident was on the job. Let them pay. Hooking up dollies is not easy at first and there's been some real bad injuries from not knowing. I also hope your trainer feels good by his or her lack of good sense. Just give it some time and do what the doctors say and I believe you'll be back to work. Good luck.
Wargames Thanks this. -
Harvey I worked for roadway too and ran doubles and an old timer taught me to push the tires to get it going where you need it. Also the jiff was a pain In the ### I didn't use to many dollies. But some on here might not know the difference but I know you do. To he op I hope you get better.

Pushing the tires works great when you have a dolly with a built in jack with a front tire on it.
Most dollies dont have the jack anymore. Pushing the tires still works but you will be dragging the front landing pad of the dolly on the ground the whole time.
Pushing the tires is an easy way to turn the dolly, too.
And yes, those jif locks were a pain in the ###!
