Just don't buy a Ford . Remember when he posted saying he would no longer contract anybody with a Ford 6.0 or 6.4 ? :biggrin_2559: . Ford Forum guys went ballistic and the Dodge forums were LTAO .
I was the one that introduced Todd Dills to Melvin and the guys at the hotshot forum when he was writing that article for Overdrive in '06 . I told him to steer clear of Gary but he talked to him anyway .

I'm in no means supporting Gary, as I really don't know him, but in his defense, bare in mind the failure rate for hotshots is like 90% and must of his guys are brand spanking new, so he will have a very high dropout rate..

It's like the megacarriers . Most guys are brand new because the old guys know better .

These are exceptions to the rule. Gunther is probally still operating under some other name, only way they'll stop him is to crush all his junk.
With logbooks generally falling under administrative law I'm sure there is LOTS more to both of thee cases than is reported. I would think both groups probably ran their mouth's alot during and after the audits to warrant a false statements charges anyway. If you don't talk it's hard to prove.
Where a fatality is concerned I would have a lawyer to start with and reopening a shut down carrier I would have had a lawyer too. Any good lawyer will tell you don't talk to the police.......

Yep that was when me and gary got sideways. I have two fords with 7.3's
one has 470,000 on it. I have been reading some on mods to bulletproof the 6.0? I rode in a 6.0 once it had lots more take off than my 7.3.
Don't know if they'd hold up though. Only downside to 7.3 is it's slow.
Melvin went back to a 7.3 about three months ago.

I think this is the cure for the 6.0 problem . Ford would rather take trucks back under the lemon law than get a supplier for adequate head bolts . http://www.bankspower.com/magazines/show/617-ford-power-stroke-6.0l-part-1-what-fails-and-why
I talk to Melvin almost daily on Facebook .

I was in district court in Alabama several years ago, Pro Se of course.
I stood and told the judge he was violating my constitutional rights and cited alabama case law. He turned red in the face and said he wasn't hearing anymore oral aurguments from either side (opposing council kept say but,but your honor)
Then opposing council was making a settlement offer in less than two weeks. Thats how we bought our new house.
Most dot rules are administrative that way you don't have the proptections you'd have otherwise. Last thing I done was asked for a speedy trial when they wrote me a ticket. They never know what to do.
My motto is you have rights use them.
