Is this true for all training companies that if you get a ticket while in training, its lights out?

Training is part of your probation period.
If you anything wrong or illegal they can and most likely can you.

I got a ticket and wrecked a 2012 prostar my first week, with my first company. They said accidents happen, I'm still with them. 3 months so far

    Here's what happened.

I started with Roehl, They didn't have a truck available (I drive can fleet). So they assigned me a temp tractor, a 2012 prostar (flat bed truck).

I get my first load and it takes me by my house for two days of hometime then I'd deliver after.

It was about 7pm and I pull into my yard, I turn the truck around and got close to my fence. I had to back a little to jack the truck more and get away from the fence. While backing I ran against a power pole with the sleeper. It crushed in the sleeper. I appologize for saying I wrecked it, it wasn't totaled. Just crushed in the sleeper. Anyway, I call them and report it. They told me accidents happen and they were happy I reported it as soon as it happened.

Anyway, the next morning I was showing my dad the truck and a state trooper pulls up. Appearently our neighbors called he cops and said I hit a power pole. They though I hit one out in the road or something, but it was on our property. Anyway, the power company came out and because the pole was damaged the trooper had to give me a ticket for property damage.

I called and told Roehl about it, they were understanding. They just wanted to make sure I paid the ticket on time.

    Lokix Thanks this.

Sorry to make it sound as if it's no big deal, it sucks for me because now I have a preventable accident on my record and have delayed the chances of becoming a lease operator with them.

That's pretty crazy... I can't believe they kept you to be honest as a newbie.. I mean I'm happy they did, but man my luck they wouldn't give me another opportunity..
