Or less populated states or areas of.... Nothing like getting off the big road and actually seeing the sights. When I was doing flatbed I ran any and every road not resticted. Were times local driver would ask if I was lost they'd never seen a Black n Shinny up close. Only thing I've wisened up and will google for any known fairs/festivals. Was going thru OH can't remember town/road but county fair had the whole town shut down and detoured on side streets. After dragging the trailer thru a few yards, rubbing a light pole and almost relocating power lines I finally made it out alive.

I-80 EB in Nebraska
JustSonny Thanks this. -
I get a peaceful, easy feelin' just about anywhere in middle Indiana. The closer I get to Gary, though, the faster the feelin' fades.
DannyB, 07-379Pete, Mud Dog and 1 other person Thank this. -
I love running in Wisconsin. Nice scenery and darn nice people. I've always enjoyed running up around Dodgeville and Platteville. Every now and again I may get lucky enough to snag something going way up into the northwoods. The further North... the better. Heck... even when I delivered to Lambeau Field wearing a Bears hat... they still treated me like a rock star!
If I'm going up to the Badger.... It's gonna be a good day.Last edited: Jan 15, 2012

Mine's a toss between Alaska and British Columbia. Awesome scenery, lots of big game, and very little traffic.

You get to the southern part of Indiana and you'll find some hills.
I like Kansas, I-70. Cruise control. Plenty of stopping points and I haven't found a tight turn yet.
WinchesterMagnum, that first picture you posted reminded me of when I went to Alaska. I have a picture I took of that same spot. It is real senic. -
Thanks okieron but I had to come off the road for awhile for family issues.
