Please...and for the last time...the great wide truckers I see in Mcleany, FL have nice decked out trucks...and never complain...

 

They just had an add in our local newspaper for team drivers,new trucks and 55k per driver

 

screw greatwide dallas mavis and there dispatcher don out of Elgin,IL.... ###### con's every single load I have done with any dallas mavis carrier or disptcher has f-ed up from something they did and then turn around and want more money or hold freight hosage!!!! I hope one day I run in to on the streets

 

Lets just say I just left a small company where I was a company driver. It was a great company 5 yrs ago,but in the past 3 months sine Greatwide took it over..(correction)..we bacame "agents" for the..everything went to hell in a handbasket..can't get the fuel you need for your loads,and payroll is screwed up beyond beleif,not to mention getting home is worse than trying to get teeth pulled and it takes an act of God and Congress to make that happen..example..579 mile run..you get 44 gals. of fuel and you are told it's more than enough..you do the math!!

Can someone help me understand, the O/O's on here, many of them, talking about making no money, but stay for years anyway.. Why? Isn't it your truck? Seems like you can do so much better, very easily, leasing on to another company.. Just curious what are you holding out for? No sarcasm intended

 

Not an O/O but I it seems to me those O/O who lease with these crappy O/O companies do so cuz either they have a not so clean background or a bad MVR.

Its not that easy.. with a clean mvr it takes 2 to 3 weeks to change jobs.. Greatwide will drag their feet and make sure it takes you 4 to 5 while you are in the process of changing you will be starved out.. Trust me we are all in the process of moving.. It just takes time and money to move a truck. plus as bad as this job is it pays the bills (barely) and it is EASY!! If you can get by the getting screwed out of certain things.
