Ive been doing gas for the past 5 years and I think 45min is more like it for the average load. My loads vary from 8500-12000gallons and im rarely at a staion longer than that. But as its already been said you should get yourself into a good safe routine and stick with it. Safety should always be first we're not hauling water! Hahahaa

Im talkin total time in and out of the station when i said 45min. Actual dropping time is much quicker. I pull a Heil 5comp 9200gal trl that drops approx. 500gal per minute. We have Heil 5comp 12000gal trls that drop much slower at approx 350gal per minute. Company doesnt want us dropping more than 2 hoses at a time to cut back on possible mistakes.

Use short lengths of 4" hose, and use 3" vapor recovery hoses. I kept 3 hoses that were 4" diameter and about 8 feet long - these were almost always used for the regular no-lead, because there's usually more of it than any other product.
First, stick the diesel tank, then hook up and start dropping diesel. This helps avoid a mix.
Next, stick the no-lead, hook up, and start dropping. Chances are, you'll have more of it than any other product, so it should always be the first product after you start the diesel drop.
After the no-lead starts dropping, you can do the super, and then the midgrade, if you have either of these.
Do your paperwork while fuel is dropping.
That's about all you can do to shorten the time it takes to actually discharge the product from the compartments.
