So ive been in the sleeper for 22 hours and im not aloud to dh home as its to far 400 miles. I guess these things happen but it sucks!!! Not to mention they had me bobtail 1200 miles 2 weeks ago to do 156 mile load . Doesnt make sence to me :/

 

Safety keeps telling Hubby that they can't get ahold of the DR in Hiram thats why no answer as to whether he must test or not. SOOOO Hubby called the DR himself this morning. JBS hasn't even called. NOT ONCE...more bull

I personally wouldn't be paying in advance for it unless absolutly needed. Once that goes on your record if you do have it ISSUES down the road. Not to mention if you test positive you can be denied your DOT card until you show that the CPAP works....that can take weeks. We still can't get a clear answer what are EXACTLY the rules as to who must test. What ever you decide best of luck to you both!!

I have no problem with them making any rules they want as to the health and safety of their drivers. I have been on Hubby for quite awhile so I think its great . MY ISSUE is not telling EVERYONE that its coming......not having a clear set of rules for EVERYONE.....not being clear on the repercussions if you test positive( ie sitting for WEEKS if not MONTHS while its all straightened out).

No it doesn't except to say one was for them and this would be for you. This is why hubby never likes to ask for certain days off. every time they force him to give a date he sits for 2-3 days waiting for a load home. would much rather swing through. Hard on you guys in Florida though for sure especially when your already so close. GOOD LUCK hope you get something soon.

 

I was told when they gave me the load to Philly that they had it backed up with a load to get me home (which delivers 300 miles from home) so if they try to pull that crap on me they can come get the truck in Jacksonville..............I'm done!

 

Sorry Harley that you are going through this, and what I say next my not apply to you. But I do remember posting my complaints on here a few months ago and was given shut for it as "it doesn't happen to other drivers" there for it must be me. I gave notice that everyone that was saying I was just complaining are now having issues. So it I told you do Irene something I was looking to say. Once again this doesn't apply to you Harley. I hope they get you home soon.

On the other hand I'll see you jbs drivers at the meat plants when I come by to get my load with my other company truck.

 

Sorry Harley this BS is happen to ya.. Yea I'm Done also I have an interview with a company at home to go back into dispatching. Sitting and sitting is getting old 49 hrs last week.. My brother is at Jbs also 4k in the last two weeks no good.. Good luck to you and all the others at JBS.

 

i agree they dh us 700 miles for a load but not home. just got here good luck and enjoy your hometime. send message about layover time starting @24 hours they will find you a load.

 

I got a load picking up tomorrow and delivering close to the house on monday morning. Which sucks because i cant drive the truck to my house to babysit the load. So that equals 500 miles for 4 days lol. Oh well it is what is i just wanna go home. They sure know how to ruin a weekend with the family. Most drivers say thats trucking, but is it? I dont know.
