Law enforcement having expensive vehicles doesn't bother me. What does is when I stop for diesel at the truck stop early in the a.m there are 5-6 police cars sitting outside idleing while they sit on there duff inside having coffee. Not only do we get to pay them to eat, but god forbid they go back to a cold car, so lets pay for some gas too.

I see you as nothing more than a tax collector with a badge. You may get alot of respect on here, but not from me. I dont respect any cops.

I see you as a know it all arse. No offense I don't respect arseholes. Sorry but you have proven with your words and attitude that you are nothing but a cancer. I feel sorry for your co-workers that have to deal with you on a daily basis. Let me guess, that's why you ride by yourself because you don't play well with others.

Every post I have ever seen you post in that deal with rules, regulations or some sort of authority you have an issue. That tells me, you think you are above every law, rule or regulation. Not every cop is an arse. Just like not every driver is an arse. But when you show the hate you have, you give the general public the perception that all driver's are rogue rule breakers that will do whatever they can, because the rules don't apply to them.

Do I write tickets that cost money? Yes. Do I write warnings that generate no money? Yep that too. You see enforcement is not just writing tickets as you preach, I mean revenue collection. Enforcement is a multi-faceted approach with education, warning and citations. Some folks violate laws that require a citation or even arrest. Some violate a law and get a warning. Education is another aspect where we meet with folks from the industry and inform them of the rules and/or regulations. Today I spent the majority of the day meeting with various carriers and ensuring the understanding of some of the regulations. Guess what, no revenue collection today, talking to drivers and owners about trucking. Not preaching or yelling at them. Not chasting them, but informing them and showing them, how to comply.

From your attitude that you display I already have a good idea of what has happended to you on the side of the road. I'll give you a little secret, I don't want anyone to kiss my arse and I don't kiss anyone's arse. But when I stop someone on the side of the road or go to the business I address them as "Sir" oir "ma'am" the entire time. I give them the respect they deserve until they prove otherwise. However, some one who has an attitude that you display I will kill you with kindness almost to the point of insanity. You see I have dealt with people that share your attitude for years. It kills them that I treat them so nice. They can't stand that some sort of authority figure could be nice. Because they whole existance is to speak of how bad, nasty and terrible I am.

I don't know, and quite frankly could care less if I ever meet you, but the one question I have for you is this. It must be a beech to go through life so miserable and full of hate? Hopefully at some point you can find peace in your life with all walks of life.

P.S. If you ever get stopped by a guy that kills you with kindness, it just may be me.:biggrin_25525:

I dont think Im above the law, I think everybody is above most laws because so many of them shouldnt exist in the first place.

And as far as my trucking career goes, Im completely clean. My criminal background not so much.

I do not respect, trust, or like the police. I never have and I never will. Cops are the biggest thugs on the street, and law enforcement is a for profit business.

No sheet. I say I'm shocked from your posts. I guess they planted evidence on you and you were innocent? Like I said before, folks that display your attitude usually have a reason and you just confirmed it.

Planted evidence, no. More like entrapment and a false arrest.

Not even going to go into it with you, because you wont believe it since in your eyes cops are friendly and are only here to help.

    Yes, that is correct.

OK, sure, there are exceptions to the rule. There are arses out there in law enforcement.

There are exceptions to every rule. Don't judge a class of people by the exception.

No, I will not entrap you. Yes, I am there to help. I will be as friendly as you allow me to be.
