Decent companies that will hire with a 4-year old felony?

Never be afraid to blaze your own trail. If you see bones strewn about the path don't assume that you are the next victim.
The guy that taught me to ride motorcycles was fond of saying "It's your ride"
Simple but true. Ride on. -
The felony might be a problem. I had one but its been expunged. Look into that as soon as possible, its not cheap either.
There are still companies that will take you. I dont know if you will be able to get a hazmat endorsement.
Your best bet is to just start knocking on doors. I think your best bet is with a smaller company. -
Those companies you are trying to stay away from accept new drivers, and you need to start somewhere.
Plus, since they are larger companies you will hear more complaints.
And guess what? A lot of the complaints are from people who are, for lack of better terms, losers and morons.
I have been with Swift for over a year now.
Yes, there are things I don't like very much.
I am not considering leaving for 'greener pastures' however.
For the few things askew with the company, I have been treated well. And even if freight is slow at times (like now), I do keep running well enough to let me pay the bills and eat.
(which is a lot better than many jobs I have had)
If your work ethic is good, I think you will find most companies are OK to work for.Dewey Oxberger and jds8710 Thank this. -
might be hard because of those charges...check out some companies web sites and call and ask them about their policies on Felonies..some are 3 yrs some are 5 yrs some wont take you at all....Good luck and dont give up
