"Nosing in" ........WHY?

    I used to nose in quite often when I ran outlaw. After 1100 miles and being awake 20 hours or more, backing up was the last thing I wanted to do.

    If they're double aisles you may get lucky if the guy you parked behind has already left in the morning. If not, you're either working too hard, or he's a lazy #######, because obviously you would have just pulled through if he hadn't been there before you.

    I guess everyone thinks it's ok to just leave the 2-5 feet of trailer overhang out in the aisle instead of over the curb, which causes headaches for people parked beside you, in front of you, or the guy who wants the open space next to you.

    I did it once because I was tired and lazy and as I was setting up a loud mouth on the radio made a comment so I nosed in beside him and moved it later the next morning. after he fought to get out around my extra 5 or 6 ft.

    I drive flatbed so this doesnt apply as my truck and trailer will still be the same length. As far as why I do it sometimes is mostly for reefers and the other is a change of scenery or My wife and I dont want people knowing our business, LOL
