Things are going good here in west Texas. I'm on load 23 counting back to 1/2/12. EOG started off a little slow, but the last 2 weeks have been real busy. Who do you drive for and where do you run?

    rookietrucker Thanks this.

Who fracs for EOG down there? It's Halco, BJ, and Frac Tech working for them here. Who do you work for, company guy or owner operator? We've heard more sand haulers from TX are on their way to nd....:biggrin_25510:

UPP Midland. I drive for Silverline transport and i'm a company driver. I've been to ND, i would rather stay here. I average a load a day. Some loads are 800-900 miles, so 1 load a day is enough.

I can't really say who I drive for but we mainly have stayed in TX, OK and NM. Things are not looking good for many of us drivers and several are looking for another job. This keeps up, I will be looking as well.

I have seen your trucks from a couple of places we haul sand from.

I run all over west Texas and into eastern NM. I've heard that what I run is considered slow, but i'm not going to drive myself to death to make a few extra bucks and risk getting tickets. I have a perfectly clean license with no accidents ever. I see guys pushing real hard working 20 hours a day, but it catches up with them eventually. I still make almost double what i made driving OTR, so i'm content.
