Ok here some of the run down.. They are going to feed you great... You will get sick of the Eat and Park place that they send you to.. If you are a student paln on being gone at least 4 weeks. So far I'm impressed.. I will be glad to get back to Indiana... never thought I'd say that... I'll be disbatching from the Gary terminal.. so it kind of sucks that I won't get to see how things work till I get done with my training here... mean while seeing how it works at steel mills here though. I'm sure it will be close to the same in Gary.... When you get to PGT don't listen to the truckers and the termials... make your own mind up...And the big money is suppose to be in the Canada runs so get your passport card...If you getting satrted before you go you may get to ride with a trainer to canada..

If you already have years of experience your training will be shorter.. One guy in my training group had alot of years under his belt he only did local runs for a week then they started to get his truck ready and then tested him out... another guy sounds like he had 3 years OTR and he is starting his 3rd week like me.... What your show the trainer make the diffentence on how long your there.... For me I don't think I could have started with a better company any where else...4 out of 5 stars. The only problem I had was having to wait 3 days for a trainer to be open for me to get in a truck

    SAYiWONT and T-RIX Thank this.

I would say go ahead and get your Hazmat, especially if they are going to pay for it!! It won't hurt and might even open up some job opportunities. Just a thought.:biggrin_25525:
