We were at the academy sat morning, hauled butt up to St Paul mn. We got there last night, dropped this morning. We are deadheading down to Des Moines to pick up and runnning all the way east to RI. Staying real busy.

Enjoy class! As for Playmaker..that sucks. All I can say is I'm running good.
I wish my trainee had a smaller bladder, hopefully he will stop soon, legs are crossed....I mean fingers.

Well I'm still here. We were backing all weekend. Today we started out on the road with shifting. I would like to say I'm doing good however I can't say that. Had lots of trouble with parallel parking. Having issues with shifting as well. I'm quite frankly shocked I'm still here. I would have never passed my self on parallel. I hit the red line every time. Shifting I just can't get the timing right. I'm starting to think truck driving is something I'm not cut out for.

Hold on and relax. Alot of the students had the same problems. I aced backing, then bombed on shifting. I thought I was hopeless, but I stuck it out and all is great. My shifting, down and up, is no problem. I can back into any dock we have come to, and I feel at ease in traffic, or any other situation. That is what this program is all about. Trust your instructors, do your best, and let it all sink in. The academy is just the beginning, your over the road trainer will bring it all into focus. Your instructor is your biggest fan, trust and depend.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna try my best and push through this one way or another! The instructors are all outstanding that's for sure.

Rollo send me a PM with your room number at the dorm. If I don't see you in the morning I'll see you at the dorm after class.

stick in there stanky. i knew a guy in our class went from 5th gear to 7th gear every time. he wasn't getting shifting till day 3 on the road. and he is in his own truck today. dude you got it. it takes time and practice. you will STILL be sketchy when you get on your trainers truck. you are just a diamond in the rough. us trainers are here to get you all shiny and good for upgrade and your own truck.
