I would guess 80% of the complaints about the 'BFI' starter companies can be laid at the feet of the newbie.
I find far too many coming in with a 'you owe me' attitude.
I train, so I see it a lot. And I hear it a lot from other trainers, not only with my company, but others as well.
When a student complains I'm being mean because I tell them to roll out of the sack at 0500 and let's roll by 0530, then that tells me something.
When they pout because it's too cold out there to get out and check the tires, or it's too hot, or too wet, or, or, or...
Or about the third week out in a 5 week program they are whining, "I wanna go home. This isn't right! They're being unfair keeping me out."
When I remind them this was all covered before they came to orientation, and again covered before my truck rolled out the driveway, they wine.
So while there are legitimate complaints out there, most in my opinion, are just the whiney butt newbie.

Maybe that's the reason why the supposed "better", non BFI companies won't take people unless they have at least 2 years experience.

Me too. Have you had the cornbread at the tiger truckstop in Grosse Tete, Louisiana off interstate 10? Good stuff.

Yeah ... that's what they tell you. But stirpping that $.14 away is pretty much just a CRE thing. None of the other companies I researched had such a charge ... well one did have a $.20 kicker, but they threw you the keys at the end of the lease.

By the way met and had a chat with a couple today who drive for CRE. They've completed a their lease and are purchasing thier truck and will own it out right this year. They are very happy and satisfied with CRE.

You know, I've seen people complain about how trainees are lazy but I don't really remember anyone saying what they actually complain about. That stuff is just ridiculous. How dare you expect someone to wake up and get to work! I would of expected my trainer to slap me for whining about crap like that. I don't know how you can even put up with that.

Man! Every time I go by there I get the boudin, red beans/rice and conebread! That place smells horrible, but the food is greatness!
