    Family wants to RV into the Calgary area from the states. Going to pull their jeep....... seems they heard Canadian law requires brakes on all towed vehicles.......

    Shed some light?

    Rv's pull trailers and other vehicles all the time and all they require is lights. Trailers over a certain weight, which escapes me right now, do require brakes. Pulling a jeep, they'll be fine.

    In Alberta, trailers over 2,000 lbs require brakes.
