    Out of nowhere.

Just curious, out with a 620 with newest opticruise (120 000km on the clock) and feels like it's eating a bit to much fuel. Ok I run on arctic diesel at the moment (cold as hell here) but it's on 51l/100km with about 47t total weight today witch to me feels like a lot. Just wondering if the newer 620 want's more snacks
Or am I just crap to drive, the driving guide is on 70% at the moment so the truck seems to be somehow a bit pleased at least :)

What do you guys have for experience whit the new 620 compared to the older ones.

Excuse me Euros, I need this thread back for REAL trucks. HaHa, just kidding! This is a picture of what a FLA looks like on a 379 Pete frame. The guy who owns this truck lives in FL and has it listed for $13500. It is immaculate.

what do you think about 2pedal opticruise...is gearchange speed now at acceptable level... I heard that it ####f spit geara at least twice faster than before..

Do you have smooth control on starting on snow/ice do you need to use maneuverability mode?

Is it worth to pay 965€ for it comparing to normal 3pedal (965 pricw with hill holder which is 350€)

    I saw here only 3trucks with 2pedal

Do you think there is more clutch wear on new one

Well, let me put it like this. I want I-shift back.

It works ok but it still don't know what to do many times, change up at bad points. For example you are in 11 and push the gas for the hill then that ####### gearbox think it would be good to go with 12. P mode it instead drops and screams at 1800rpm instead. Could drive it at manual mode but Scanias idea at the steering wheel and the 10cm swing first before the switch works. gaaah. Should be as Volvo has it.

Roundabouts.. hmm where to start. Rolled backwars 3 times when i pushed the gaspedal, refuseed to do anything. Push the brake pedal, gearbox selects 1 instead of to 2 and no it goes. Hello???

Reverse a bit up hill to the depot the ####### truck starts to jump.

My conclusion, completely worthless. If you want it take the one with clutch pedal. If you want one without, buy a Volvo!!

No idea about the clutch wear.

Can try to make a small video tomorrow if I remember, should get quite good picture how fast/slow it is then

I would really like to hear what you have to say after placing a euro Scania , Volvo or Mercedes next to a American COE.
Inspect them from top to bottom front to back.
Take them over a rough road.
Do a pull away on an 8% incline at 130 000lbs.
Wonder how much Mc Gyvering that took.
    Nice paint job.

really there are no modern cabovers in the USA now. Argosy with all mods is a truck of the past. Yep, restyled cab, new engine, buy all the truck is of the past age.

Some guys consider old trucks real trucks for better durability and reliability. I have to agree, becouse the optimal combination of new technologies are rare. Many trucks, like Volvo, Cascadia, Actros got too many systems.

I sugest no reason to use VECU, ADM/FR, FFR, it is enought to have one Engine ECM,

IMO, I'd prefere truck with limited number of systems: Engine ECU, EBS/ABS, ECAS and digital dashboard. That is all!!!! Cab control units, light units, SAMs, body computers, electronic air processing units are good toys, but too expencive, and not reliable enought in combination.

So that's why I lile before version-2 volvos (from '98 to 02), pre Cascadia Freightliners, Mercedes Axor, MAN F2000 (not TGA/TGX), DAF95 (not 105) and some other trucks not overfilled with too modern systems.

But I recomend to all disk brakes, EBS, ESP for truks and trailers. These systems help to save lives and truccks
