Did I see you coming through Baker City on I-84 last Friday by chance? I know I went by somebody in an orange Swift truck.

I don't think it was me. I haul Wallywagons and the occasional Swift reefer, which would only have the lightning bolt S on the rear rollup door. It's possible, though, because I do go to Ontario sometimes and I forget week to week when I was in a place.

Lucky you! I was a western 11 driver for a while (I'd sure like to know when Boston moved to the west.....) I do miss I5 corridor though. Had a lot of fun on it, just sucks when you get down to cali and have to do 55. On a side note, I used to live by the petro there at the 17 in oregon. Would move back there if my ex wasn't trying to hunt me down and cut my other nut off.

Not only has it made aware the need for smoke and CO2 detectors, but it has alot of other people looking at the exhaust system, and getting potential problems fixed. And i think once you have looked for a problem, it is always in your mind, and will be added to the mental list of things to check when we do circle checks.

so, again thank you Gears for sacrificing a few more brains cells for the good of your brethren, and sisteren???:biggrin_2554:
    cheers!

    Gears Thanks this.

Glad you are ok Gears. That's a terrible thing to have happen to you. I agree with one of the previous posts, why not make it mandatory for every truck with a sleeper to have a CO2 and a smoke alarm. I sure would feel safer.
