So, I am getting my truck ready and come across a few other guys in my lease class. I offer them the advice to get a trip as soon as possible, cause Friday and Saturday are not good days to get jobs out of Sprimo... This GUY tells them not to worry, thursday is the worst day to get a job, they are all crappy paying jobs and to wait until Friday afternoon or Saturday for the good jobs!!!! Just had to share that. I said nothing and walked away. what an Effing idiot, but this guy has been pumping bad info to screw with people all week.

Exit 24 I10 at the hook got 1.5 hours for rest and off to Dallas for a Monday delivery. Licked out went to California to do my last drill and they changed it to next week without telling me, so I called the training nco and told him sorry dude, but I came out here to drill and you guys changed it with out telling me? I headed back east and ill be back in four months. Then after I hung up the phone thought to myself, oh my contract is up in three weeks. To bad I guess I'm done with the army. I should have stayed in the marine corp. Lesson learned. Hope everyone has a great day.

Can honestly say this is one time that I don't mind them taking their time.

 

Got a load outage Charlotte pipe in North Carolina yesterday heading to Cedar City Utah. Just got a QC msg from dispatch to sit at closest TS for a couple of hours. We were supposed to get a load out of Utah on Sunday then head back to Kansas so my trainer could get his hometime scheduled for Tuesday morning. Night dispatch forgot to put in a request for a load. So now sitting in Bonneville MO waiting for a repower out of SPF. So my 7k week just went back to a 5k week.

Marine Corps is no better these days. I took off in Jan '10 screaming and flailing all the way out the door.
